September 2026 in the ITDR Workshop

September was another busy month in the Inverell Truck & Diesel Repairs workshop, with a wide range of heavy vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repair work coming through the doors.
From scheduled maintenance on Kenworths through to engine replacement, clutch repairs, air system faults and engine diagnostics, these jobs are just a selection of the work completed by the ITDR team during September 2026.
Based in Inverell, NSW, our workshop supports owner drivers, transport operators, fleet managers and local businesses with heavy diesel servicing and repairs to help keep trucks and equipment working reliably.
Kenworth T659 Scheduled Maintenance
Another well-presented Kenworth came through the ITDR workshop during September.
This Kenworth T659 was in with the team for scheduled maintenance and servicing to help keep it reliable and ready for the next job.
Regular truck servicing is an important part of reducing the risk of unexpected breakdowns, identifying developing problems early and helping extend the working life of major components.
For trucks travelling long distances or working under heavy loads, keeping on top of scheduled maintenance can also help reduce unwanted downtime.
Whether you operate one truck or manage an entire fleet, the ITDR team can assist with heavy vehicle servicing, repairs and access to genuine and aftermarket truck parts.
Heavy Diesel Crate Engine Replacement
The ITDR team also carried out the installation of a new crate engine during September.
An engine replacement in a heavy vehicle is a substantial mechanical job. It involves careful removal of the existing engine, transfer and installation of associated components, correct connections and detailed checks throughout the process.
Proper installation is important to make sure all systems are connected and operating as required before the vehicle returns to work.
ITDR carries out heavy diesel engine diagnostics, repairs and engine replacement work from our Inverell workshop.
Mitsubishi FN600 Livestock Truck Clutch Replacement
This Mitsubishi FN600 livestock truck came into the workshop for a clutch replacement.
The clutch plays a critical role in transferring engine power through to the transmission. As components wear, operators can begin to experience problems with gear changes, slipping, poor engagement or reduced drivability.
For a working livestock truck, these problems can quickly interfere with day-to-day operations.
The ITDR team carried out the clutch replacement to help get this Mitsubishi back on the road.
Our workshop can assist with heavy vehicle clutch, transmission and driveline repairs for trucks operating throughout Inverell and the wider New England and Northwest Slopes and Plains regions.
Kenworth T909 Air System Fault
This Kenworth T909 arrived at the ITDR workshop with an air system problem.
The reported symptoms included an air leak and pressure not building correctly.
A truck that cannot build or maintain adequate air pressure needs attention. Heavy vehicle air systems are used for braking and a range of other air-operated components, so leaks or pressure problems can affect vehicle operation and lead to downtime.
Finding the source of an air system fault requires proper inspection and diagnosis rather than simply replacing parts without identifying the cause.
If your truck is slow to build air, continually losing pressure or showing other signs of an air system problem, the ITDR team can inspect and diagnose the fault.
Ford L9000 Engine Misfire Diagnosis
A Ford L9000 also came into the workshop during September with a reported engine misfire.
An engine misfire can affect performance, fuel efficiency and overall drivability. There are several possible causes, which is why proper fault finding is important before repairs begin.
The ITDR team inspected and diagnosed the vehicle to help identify the cause of the problem and determine the appropriate repair.
If your truck, bus or diesel equipment is running rough, losing power or simply not performing as it should, early diagnosis can help prevent a smaller problem from developing into more significant downtime.
